The Cadet Program at Muddy Brook Fire Department is dedicated to helping youth in the community seeking opportunities by volunteering and serving their neighborhoods through medical support as well as fire ground operations. The Cadet Program is aimed at those between the ages of 14 and 17. Through this program, you will be able to attend the Connecticut Fire Academy for an introduction to fire service class, as well as acquire medical certifications. You will also be able to participate in monthly meetings and training under supervision of members.
